#6 | when the inspiration hits in the shower…

If you'd like to see me more, follow me on Instagram. And if you're new here, I wrote a book. If you've already read it, I would love to receive a review on Amazon. p.s, Visit my Etsy Store and use the code NEWSLETTER to get a 10% discount as a thank-you gift for reading my newsletter. Thank you!

I'm a week late, but here I am. I must confess, I almost skipped this newsletter too. I'm writing this after a glass of wine on a Friday night, so please forgive me if I'm not making much sense.
The thing is, I almost didn't write this newsletter. Not because I'm tired of it or anything, I actually enjoy writing here. But I have a problem with consistency, especially when it comes to things that are just for me.
It's funny how I can keep a routine of posting every day for years for some clients, but when it comes to those things that no one is watching, no one is asking for, I keep putting them off.
This applies to everything from writing to hobbies, and even routines. It's always been like this. Even when inspiration hits and I create and do things for a while, like practising yoga for a few months, reading some books, and even writing a book, it's almost painful to keep up the momentum afterwards.
I don't really understand why, even when it's something I enjoy and really want to do. Sometimes I wonder if it's the exhaustion of routine that I can't escape, or the complexities of life that get more complex every day, that drain me and make me just want to disconnect.
There are days when I just want and need to disconnect from myself.
But then I sink, and from the bottom, I need to start moving again, or I'll drown.
And sometimes it feels like drowning is the only way out. But I remember all those things that remain when everything changes and I swim.
I swim because I remember that Frank Sinatra song, "I did it my way." And I want to do it my way, since I'm here.
But this is the cycle I live in, and because I've been living in it for so long, I feel that (un)fortunately, it's becoming more and more familiar. But maybe this is the beginning, of understanding, accepting, living and changing. And doing it our way.
So I write this newsletter, go to the gym, take myself out for a walk. At least today.
By the time this newsletter arrives, I'll probably be travelling to Cambridge to see a friend's play (by the way, if anyone wants tickets, click here), and after some heavy weeks, I'm really excited. Good days ahead, right?
I hope you enjoy your weekend and have one of those inspired weeks!
Now I'm going to finish drying my hair because inspiration hit me after the shower, and that's it. Sometimes it's about enjoying the good moments and accepting the not-so-good ones. On good days, we can look at them with more wisdom and then make changes or not. Just do it your way.

AI Weekly Prompt
To help make your social media posts more interesting, start the conversation by writing
"Hello chat. I need you to make this post more personal, interactive, engaging, and controversial, don’t forget to add a call to action (CTA) at the end to generate comments and shares (or your main goal with the post). Here's the post you need to improve: (add your post here)."
And to improve the results of the prompt, you can use the content of your website, more information about your brand, audience, and goals, or previous posts as a basis to create more tailored content for you.
